The challenge
The client needed information about post-tension cables and general reinforcement in selected areas of a bridge. Chiselling carries a high risk of damaging tension cables, repairs after chipping can create weak points, and only a limited area can be inspected that way.
What we did
Birdsview scanned the bridge in 2–3 hours across the selected areas and delivered a full 3D model with rebar mapping and post-tension cables.
